Shaker Heights Public  Library We all have our reasons for living in the Sussex area, nestled in Shaker Heights, but are you aware of one jewel  in our city that helps to keep our area one of the best regions in which to live?  Take the time to get introduced to or re-acquainted with our Shaker Heights Public Library.  You can do research, order and renew books on line, and reserve items from a multitude of Library systems.  In addition, you can take classes, and offer your children a wonderul opportunity to find the fun in reading.

Shaker Heights Schools- A community is known by the schools it keeps.  This link will provide you all information you will need on the Shaker Heights Public School System.  Our school system is one of the top rated school systems in the United States.

Warrensville-Van Aken Project is the most agressive program affecting the Sussex Community of Shaker Heights.  You can find out about all the plans, the history, and the potential of this future historic portion of Sussex.  It will transform the area into a hub of transit, residential, office, retail and recreational activities.

RTA - The Shaker Rapid connection to downtown Cleveland is the website for all information on the former Shaker Rapid.  This light rail system is a favorite of all the Shaker communities.  You can print out schedules, check costs and even plan "One Pass Trips" around the Cleveland area.

is the Sussex community's resourse for early childhood care needs.  They provide educational, social and recreational programs for young childeren of all abilites, ages birth to age 5.  In addition, they offer a great opportunity for the Sussex community residents to volunteer and assist in the educational process.
